our approach

We collaborated directly with Steve McQueen's licensing agency and his grandchildren, Chase and Madi McQueen, to build a brand rooted in motorsport heritage and vintage Americana.

The collectible oil can tin was designed to feel like it belonged in a vintage garage—timeless, weathered, authentically worn—while maintaining the refined quality expected from craft coffee. The tins work as standalone collectibles or pair with soft pouch refills for flexibility.

We developed a cohesive visual identity inspired by racing culture: a primary badge modeled after vintage motorcycle tank emblems, radiator cap graphics for coffee origins and blend names, McQueen's signature monogram, and speed-driven retro typography. Every detail, from racing stripes to mechanical elements, tells part of the story, creating a brand that honors McQueen's legacy while commanding presence on shelf.
