bad hambres
After quitting his 9-5, Hank set out to make the best, notoriously good frozen burrito. Through viral social media success and dedication to the bean dream, he and his wife Sam became the internet's favorite frozen burrito brand. Built on quality beans and a process refined through trial and error, Bad Hambres is now a freezer staple across Arizona and shipping up the West Coast. Inspired by the Mexican food Hank grew up with, these burritos are made with care and delivered to your door. Welcome to the bean dream.

our approach
When Bad Hambres brought us on, they'd already established a core following and solid brand foundation. Sam, one of the co-founders and a designer herself, collaborated with us on brand strategy and packaging design. We refined and expanded their existing brand system: adjusting the main wordmark, creating logo variations, building out color systems, and developing branded icons, illustrations, and supporting assets.
As production scaled, packaging evolved from hand-wrapped paper to sealed plastic wrapping for larger quantities. We designed custom packaging for individually wrapped burritos across the Verde and OG Red collections, along with 6-pack burrito holders. The 6-packs ship in custom boxes featuring brand-forward messaging that we developed to match Bad Hambres' unapologetic voice.
Working with Mark and Lauren was a dream. The process was smooth, thoughtful, and collaborative. They deeply understood the Bad Hambres brand and elevated it beyond my expectations. 10/10 recommend.
